Is Cristabelle's Parties & Events a legitimate
business?

We have been around since 1996 working hard to build our
impeccable reputation. We are licensed by Palm Beach County
and the Village of Royal Palm Beach, as well as,
Incorporated in the state of Florida.
BEWARE:
Of those that only accept cash, only take reservations
for Saturdays or Sunday, are not licensed, charge extra for
delivery, etc

should I choose Cristabelle's Parties & Events for my
party?
We
stand behind every job we do. From the planning and
coordinating to arrival and deliveries of our services, we
select only the best equipment and reliable quality
performers to do the job. Our attention to detail,
cleanliness, business ethics, and reputation, proceeds us.
Cristabelle is fingerprinted with the Palm Beach County
School District and is family owned and operated. We send
you an Invoice & Agreement to guarantee the service. We
understand how important your special event is, which is
why you can count on us to get the job done right the first
time.
What
happens if the weather does not cooperate?
Cristabelle's
Parties & Events delivers RAIN OR SHINE. The you must
provide a safe covered area for your scheduled performance.
Changes can be made with 3 weeks prior notice. Within 3
weeks of the event, most items are already booked and it is
very complicated to change the schedule or have the same
items available. We try not to go by the weather reports.
Most Floridians know that the meteorologists are not always
accurate. It usually only rains for a short period of time,
leaving the rest of the day beautiful and sunny. We can
change your event date if the new date requested is
available. Fees may apply. Cristabelle reserves the
entertainment and amusements as requested and turn away any
other like requests.
However,
severe thunderstorms and hurricanes are another story. We
do NOT recommend the use of any inflatable, water slide, or
electrical equipment during a lightning storm. In the event
of hurricane, in which the hurricane is an immediate threat
to event site, route to event site, or entertainment’s base
of operation, you may be offered a rain date or have your
deposit refunded. We ask you to contact use for
arrangements. We usually close up shop until it is safe to
reopen.
Are
your inflatables clean?
Yes!
Our units very clean and we pay special attention to keep
them in great condition. We sanitize our inflatables with
disinfectant between every use. We also have strict policy
of: No food, beverage, smoking, chewing gum, soap, shampoo,
shaving cream or use of silly string while using our
equipment. Silly string stains and is impossible to get
out. We work hard to keep our equipment looking
presentable.
When
and how do I pay?
To
make a reservation and guarantee your items will be held
for your date, Cristabelle's Parties & Events asks for
a minimum of 50% of the total order. This may be in the
form of check (third party checks are not accepted), money
order, cash, credit card, or PayPal. The reservation will
not be guaranteed until the payment is received. Checks
must be received at least seven business days prior to your
event date. Upon receipt of deposit, you will receive a
confirmation email or call. The remaining balance may be
paid by credit card or cash only on arrival. Checks will
not be accepted the day of the event.
Could
I pickup my rentals to save money?
Unfortunately,
no. Cleanliness and safety are important to Cristabelle.
The only way we can ensure this is to do it for you. The
inflatable units can weight 150-500 lbs and if not set up
properly can become a danger to those using it (kids). We
don't want to see anyone get hurt. We do not charge any fee
to deliver, setup, or pickup any inflatable unit. As for
table and chair rentals, the delivery/pick up fee is
minimal.
Do
you deliver to parks?
Yes
we do! We do carry the necessary requirements to deliver
and operate in the Palm Beach County Parks. When reserving
a park with the Parks & Recreation Department, they
will ask you the name of the company you hired for your
party. Our company is Cristabelle's Parties & Events,
however, when they are pulling up our insurance
information, it is listed as "World Clown Association,
Christine Rodriguez." Some parks require to be listed on
our insurance policy as an additional insured. We are happy
to do so, but the client will be responsible for the cost
($40.)
Do
I need an attendant?
There
should ALWAYS be someone supervising any amusement or
inflatable equipment. It is important to limit the number
of children using the unit at the same time, making sure
they are of similar size, and controlling their behavior to
make sure everyone is safe and having a fun time.
Cristabelle can provide an attendant for you for an
additional charge of $30 per hour. There is a 2 hour
minimum. We also have attendants available to make and
serve the fun foods.
How
long does the face painting take?
Each
artist has a different method and speed of painting.
Generally speaking, a small painting on the face "cheek
art" or on the hand may take 3-5 minutes each. Masks, Mardi
Gras designs, and half faces designs can take 5-8 minutes
per face. Full faces start at 8 minutes and go from there.
The more details, the longer it may take. If the child know
what they like before they sit down, we can move through
the line pretty quickly. We need more time for children
under 5 years of age to accommodate their needs and make
them feel comfortable. We do not recommend painting on
children under 3.
Do
you paint on sick persons?
No!!!
If someone in line for face painting is coughing or shows
any signs of illness (regardless of contagiousness) we do
not face paint them! Parents, please don't insist that your
child get painted if they are showing symptoms. There is no
way to sanitize the paints or brushes after each child, so
PREVENTION of spreading germs is key.
What
is your cancellation policy?
No cancellations.......JUST KIDDING. If the event is
reserved more than 5 months in advance, the client wWe
allow written cancellations 3 weeks prior to the scheduled
event date. The client is responsible to pay the entire
total if the cancellation falls within 3 weeks of the
event. Any requests for an item that is already scheduled
gets turned away. It is difficult to get the item reserved
for another event last minute, therefore, we lose out on
that business.
